Introduction
At Winnie & Co., we are committed to preserving the value, brand positioning, and pricing integrity of our products across all retail and wholesale channels. To ensure a consistent experience for customers and fair trading practices among our stockists, we have implemented the following Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy.
1. Agreement to MAP Policy
By purchasing Winnie & Co. products, all wholesale customers and stockists agree to adhere to the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) as outlined on the product’s swing tag, barcode, and product listing. This policy applies to all online and offline platforms and advertising, including but not limited to:- In-store retail
- E-commerce websites
- Website listings
- Email marketing
- Social media posts
- Paid ads (Google, Meta, etc.)
- Printed catalogues or promotional material
- Marketplace platforms (e.g., The Iconic, Catch, Amazon etc.)
2. Promotional Discounting Period
To support a strong launch and consistent brand perception, promotional discounting or price reductions below the RRP are not permitted within the first 90 days from the date of purchase (or delivery) of any Winnie & Co. product.
Standard first time customer promotions, such as a welcome discount at a maximum of 10%, are permitted for online e-commerce retailers during this initial period. After 90 days, promotional discounting will be subject to approval, with consideration to the following factors:
- Remains aligned with pricing on our winnieandco.com.au retail website
- In specific cases such as end-of-season clearance or discontinued items
- Written approval from our management team at Winnie & Co.
If you would like to run a promotional campaign or apply a discount outside this timeframe, we ask that you contact us for approval. We encourage open communication to ensure all marketing efforts align with our brand strategy.
3. Policy Violations
In the event that a breach of this MAP Policy is brought to our attention, Winnie & Co. reserves the right to:
- Pause or cancel supply of future stock until the issue is resolved
- Restrict access to upcoming collections or exclusive product drops
Terminate the wholesale relationship in cases of repeated or unresolved non-compliance
We are committed to working collaboratively with our wholesale partners, and will always seek to resolve concerns in a fair and professional manner.
4. Ongoing Monitoring
We reserve the right to monitor advertised pricing across all channels and platforms. This includes both manual reviews and the use of third-party monitoring tools. If you notice any pricing discrepancies with other stockists, we welcome you to notify us confidentially.
5. Importance of Pricing Integrity
This policy is designed to:
- Protect the brand’s perceived value
- Prevent undercutting between stockists
- Support sell-through at healthy margins
- Ensure a consistent customer experience, whether shopping directly or through our retail partners
